Hi, I'm Alyssa

I have been a professional upholsterer since 2014 but my love for this craft started when I was very young.  I grew up watching my mother turn secondhand antique chairs into beautiful pieces of functional art.  She taught me how to sew and how to follow my dreams.  When I decided to leave the corporate world I did just that by completing an apprenticeship at Aeronaut Upholstery and then starting HomeGrown Upholstery in 2015. I fell in love with the creative process and seeing the reaction on my clients' faces when I transformed their pieces. I feel so blessed to be able to help my clients breathe new life into their family heirlooms or help them create a piece of art for their home. Thank you for the opportunity to renew your furniture.
